Bo Diddley (born December 30, 1928) "The Originator", is an influential American rock and roll singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He is often cited as a key figure in the transition of blues into rock and roll, by introducing more insistent, driving rhythms and a harder-edged guitar sound. He was born Otha Ellas Bates in McComb, Mississippi and later took the name Ellas McDaniel, after his adoptive mother, Gussie McDaniel. He adopted the stage name Bo Diddley, which is probably a southern black slang phrase meaning "nothing at all", as in "he ain't bo diddley". Another source says it was his nickname as a Golden Gloves boxer.

I'm looking for a woman, that will work to set me down
I'm looking for a woman, that will work to set me down
I've been looking all night long, she can't be found
Well I met one last night, and I told her what I liked
Well I met one last night, and I told her what I liked
She said get away from here country boy, go back to your countryside
Well tell me baby, what you see wrong with me
Well tell me baby, what you see wrong with me
Well if I had you baby, you wouldn't be lookin' back at me
Well so long mama, baby bye-bye you bye
Well so long mama, baby bye-bye you bye
Well now bye-bye baby, with a tear in your eye
